Yucky stuff
Jul. 28th, 2005 09:36 amYesterday, I woke up with my sinuses on fire. Ended up calling in sick. Oddly enough, my nose isn't really runny, all the congestion seems determined to stay up in the sinuses, where it burns. I end up having to cough it out, which hurts, and it's usually a big, bloody wad of phlegm.
::hairball coughing sounds::
Hey, look, here's another one!
::presents used tissue for viewing::
(Be thankful I DON'T have a cam anymore. ;P)
Today I'm medicated up to the eyeballs. I'm at work, but my head's all floaty. My neck is just a piece of string and my head is bobbing along gently for the ride.
They are still repairing the A/C at work--damaged during Ivan. They have to repair the roof before they can install the new air handlers. They've only now started on the roof. Since we returned to work, we've had a window unit running. Now that we've started to hit the real highs of summer, the poor little unit just can't keep up. It's only 9:30 AM and it's 78 degrees in the office with the A/C on turbo mode and cranked up as high as it will go. This afternoon should be interesting.
