So much catching up
Jun. 30th, 2008 01:21 amHave so much to write about...weird how there's never any time, even though I'm not getting much accomplished...hmmm, that in and of itself is an accomplishment. Almost.
Reminder to self of things I want to write about:
- Jarret's fabulous new CD - seems like he's been working on it as long as I've known him and it's finally out, I hold the finished product in my hand, and just because I'm slow doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out and buy a few copies... http://cdbaby.com/cd/jarretcooper
- Flying the Micro Mosquito v3.0 RC indoor helicopter around my living room in the middle of the night, cackling like a crazy woman, crashing it into the ceiling, annoying the rabbits to no end. Thanks, Atlanta Pete for the head's up. I am greatly amused.
- Movies I've seen this summer. So far "Ironman" is rocking my summer, with "Wanted" a close second. "Indiana Jones" sits in third, with "Incredible Hulk" fourth on the list.
- World of Warcraft: Thoughts on the politics of healing: Sis goes to Kara
- Dilemma: What to do when you suspect a RL friend is going bonkers, but it's all off-screen to you...
Oh, yeah. Also--
In re: Twitter-collected entries: the LOL cat summary: Disapproving RL friends disapprove. They miss the full-length entries. All I can say is: Hey, I have 15 minutes total time on the internet between 7 AM to 5 PM and the only machine I have to freely access e-mail and web is my iPhone, which I can only use outside of my secure space. In other words, I'm not allowed to have my cell phone in my office with me, it has to sit on a shelf outside my office's locked door. Twitter forces brevity but allows me to at least share my thoughts and send my PING out into the world that I'm alive, I exist, even if it's within the confines of my wretched work existence. If the Powers-That-Be had their way, I'd not be able to do even that much, but there is absolutely NOTHING they can do about my iPhone internet access when I'm on a break.
