I haven't sat in the xA, so this is a guess on my part, but after being in the xB I think the A might feel claustrophobic to me.
I doubt that would be a problem. We used to have and enjoy a Hyundai Excel (and I kick myself for getting rid of it instead of fixing the CV joints).
Another real nice feature of the xB is the flat area on the dash directly in front of the driver, which I'm not sure the xA can match.
My friend at work has incorporated a 13-inch touch screen into his xB. He made a mounting bracket that replaces the CD player - because the PC in the trunk area plays the music now!
