Jul. 31st, 2001 08:52 pmOne of the things I enjoy doing is voiceovers at work. I've only done two stints for work, one for a fun internal thing, the other for a commercial demo of one of my company's new products, but I've been asked to do more. Because I've neglected the sinuses too long, my voice isn't what it was, say, when I was doing oral interpretation/drama/debate in college, so it's flattering that people still want to use my voice. I'm much less mellifluous and much more nasal now.
I'm hoping the antibiotics will knock out the sinus probs once and for all and that the Claritin/Flonase combo will keep my nose and throat clear. I'd love to do professional narration, voice acting for cartoons and commercials, that kind of thing. :) I guess there's a part of me that's a big ham. (And the first person who says it's my *ss, can kiss it!)
The guys are playing Diablo II again tonight (they played until midnight Friday night, until 2:00 AM Saturday night). I've dropped out of the group game and am playing solo these days. The pace is too much and I want to spend some quality time with my rabbit. Besides, sometimes they get too serious about it. I'd rather just have FUN.
The bunny is settling in. She's becoming more ebullient in her personality. I think at first she was just giving me the benefit of the doubt. Now there's at least a little affection, I think. :) When we romp together, she has started doing "binkies." These are sudden joyous turns and spins in mid-air. Once, when Dave and I were sitting on the couch while Mike and Vlad were playing Diablo II, we saw Angelbunny suddenly jump and turn 360 degrees in mid-air from a sitting position. :) When we run, sometimes she'll do a binky. As I mentioned before, we play follow-the-leader Once I tried doing a very graceless human version of the binky (again, thank GAWD no one is around to see), and she followed suit!
