At 8:20 AM, my new Nikon camera was put on a delivery truck here in Pensacola... Any moment now. :)

Sleepwalking...
We had the big B'day BBQ bash at my place on Saturday. Pensacola Pete prepared the food, and it was to die for, as usual. In the wee hours of Sunday morning, we packed it all into Tupperware/Rubbermaid containers and put it into the fridge...
When I turned off the lights in the kitchen before the trudging off to bed, everything was immaculate once more, which always strikes me as amazing in contrast to the mess that existed beforehand... Counters were clear, stove surfaces clean, dirty dishes in the dishwasher...
When I woke up this morning, the plastic containers had been removed from the fridge and left stacked neatly on the counter. When I left the house to run some errands, I also saw a dish towel in the road in front of my house that looks frighteningly like one of mine.
No, I didn't eat any of the food, as far as I can tell. No new dirty eating implements in the sink or anything. No, just the containers, mysteriously on the counter.
I have vague memories of dreaming about wanting to rearrange the food in the fridge since it was so packed...

B'day Report
It's a sad comment on the degree of my geekiness, but Mike gave me THIS for my b'day and I LOVED it. :) Of course, the first thing that happened is that DemonBunny put a mark on it (though NOT 666) as being hers... But it's an amazing case! I also got a selection of THESE to further enhance the coolness factor. :) I also got one of those trendy avant garde film cameras, the Supersampler, that people on-line seem to be so enamoured of. :)
Vlad added to my Boyd's collection with this, my first piece in the Boyds Town Villages. Inside is nestled the Trumble family! And when I saw this fellow, I just laughed and laughed and laughed!
Tedy gave me "Kirby's Tilt-n-Jump" for the Gameboy, which got passed around quite a bit. Mike and Tedy ended up enjoying it so much that they vowed to buy their own copies! You don't use the directional pad at all to move Kirby, you've got to tilt the Gameboy in the direction you want him to move, and to make him jump, you've got to give your unit a little flip, like you were flipping pancakes. It's as entertaining to watch someone play the game as it is to play it!
Dave gave me a big burly white Boyd's bear and the "Princess Mononoke" DVD.
Jarret sent the "Waiting for Guffman" DVD and proved himself my hero by finding the "Strangers in Paradise" issue #40 I've been searching for. I couldn't even order this issue from the website, because it was sold out!
