The initial feeling was relief. As a separate BRAC-able entity, we were not on the list.
Then someone pointed but neither were two other bases in the area. Turns out the totals for NAS Pensacola (net loss of 1500+ jobs) were for the region. We just got word from high that all three of my organization's locations in the area have been recommended for closing.
