Back in Jan. 1999, I think, on a most unusual day, when even Orlando, FL was a chill 10 degrees F, I lost my Indiana Jones hat. This particular hat was special; it wasn't a cheap felt knock-off, it was a high end Stetson fur felt, satin-lined job that came in a real hat box and cost me literally a week's salary. I got it when "Temple of Doom" came out. Even though I had a hat clip and had worn the thing for a decade on every rollercoaster in a 1000 mile radius of P'cola, the simple ride of Splash Mountain blasted it off my head and into the churning waters of the ride. I mourned the loss of that hat more than the loss of my eyeglasses on another roller coaster... I got a pair of contacts that same day...but the hat was irreplacable. And I tried, lord knows. I combed ebay, ordered 3 or 4 hats on the offchance, but could never find the exact right hat...

Finally, almost 10 years later, with the Indy movie on the horizon, Stetson is offering THE hat again. I am a happy camper!
